At Element 82 we have 20+ years of consumer installation experience with batteries and chargers in applications from a ride-on lawn mower or Kontiki's through to Motorhomes, industrial applications, cool-room charging, and material handling systems.
Battery sizing, purpose, application or environment, timed events, charging windows, opportunity charging, or renewable energy solutions, all have their own unique needs. This is where we excel, our talent is finding the right solution for you from the various brands we sell. If it's something we don't sell but will do the job better we are happy to admit that too as our end goal is what's right for you.
There are a few simple rules to follow that we always fall back on, they are the environment. There's no point selling you an IP22 open cased charger if you need something that's drip-proof or near water or dust. Sizing the correct capacity of the charger using the 1/10th guideline. 100Ah of battery needs 10A of charging current. Then voltages and charge profile, must be matched to your desired chemistry, time, unique manufactured specifications or application requirements to achieve the correct amount of charge.
We've seen it all from 6v vintage cars, 12 volt jump packs, 24 volt maintenance charging or fast charging solutions through to 36 volt golf carts (or 72v) and an abundant array of 48 volt systems from off-grid, UPS, forklift (material handling) and access equipment so if you have a problem with starting, battery capacity, run-time, voltages within a system or temperatures they typically all have a correlation to the charging regime.
We support the products we sell, so if we've spent the time to get it right for you in the first place we'd love to hear back from you for new business or faults or failures of the product. But if you purchased it elsewhere you should contact that place of business first and give them the first opportunity to help you. Contact us if you like what we've explained about how we can best help you and how we hope we can match you with the correct equipment to do the job you need it to do.
