Locals support loyalty. If you purchase a CTEK product your first point of contact is the reseller you purchased from. While the internet is great, it's not on your doorstep like a local store.
We are here to support purchases directly from Element 82, there are multiple distributors within NZ of CTEK, and some use repaired chargers to replace a faulty unit, we don't. But we do require your serial number for support calls which can be found on the bottom of your charger prior to any support being provided.
If you want to purchase from an online store because it's cheaper or they offer free delivery or from TradeMe then realise it's cheaper for a reason and ask yourself what could be missing? If you purchase from an overseas store you will be required to return the unit to them for replacement if faulty or technical assistance. They are also required to provide you with an SDoC when required for electrical safety approval standards.
