Automatic DC Switching System with Low Voltage Disconnect
High power DC charging is still an issue above 60A, so this Smartpass was designed to bridge the requirements for higher current to large battery banks. It can be used as a digital relay with the added functionality of emergency jump-starting abilities. Charging voltages are still controlled via the alternator (which is increased to their optimal voltage figures matching AGM or Wet cell if used in conjunction with the D250SE unit). With an isolated low voltage disconnect circuit, you can ensure essential communication or navigation lights are left running while non-essential equipment is turned off to save the batteries' power.
